Starting from October 24, you will be able to appreciate the exhibition which is already a success with more than 150.000 tickets sold even before its opening. This exhibition is exceptional because the art historians of the Louvre museum studied the archival documents on De Vinci for 10 years to clarify his biography. The museum proposes a new vision based on some teachings that Leonardo da Vinci implemented. The president of the Louvre has negotiated loans with the most famous museums in the world to gather 140 works of Italian genius, including Salvator Mundi, the painting of the master sold 450 million dollars in November 2017.
Leonardo da Vinci born April 15, 1452 in Vinci (Tuscany) and died May 2, 1519 in Amboise (Touraine), is a Florentine painter and a man of universal spirit, both artist, organizer of shows and parties1, scientist , engineer, inventor, anatomist, painter, sculptor, architect, urban planner, botanist, musician, poet, philosopher and writer. After his childhood at Vinci, Léonard studied with the famous Florentine painter and sculptor Andrea del Verrocchio. His first important works are done in the service of Duke Ludovic Sforza in Milan. He then worked in Rome, Bologna and Venice and spent the last three years of his life in France, at the invitation of King Francis I.
If you are in awe of this Italian genius, we warmly invite you to see this exhibition at the Louvre Museum, a stone's throw from the hotel.
