The Louvre Paris: a 10-minute walk from the Hotel Britannique

Take advantage of your stay at the Hotel Britannique to visit the Louvre Paris, within walking distance of our establishment. Inaugurated in 1793, the Paris museum houses 35,000 works displayed in an exhibition area of over 60,000m², including the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo.

The Louvre: numerous permanent and temporary exhibitions

Paintings, sculptures, drawings, ceramics, artifacts and objects of archaeological interest are spread over eight departments dedicated to the Antiquities, Decorative Arts and Islamic Arts.

You can also admire its many permanent collections covering a wide variety of eras and geographical areas. Temporary exhibitions are also organized, including those dedicated to the works of artists Eugene Isabey and Gerhard Richter, both of which will run until 17 September.
